This is some of what coaches DO with their clients:
Let you determine the agenda for each session
Listen to you on multiple levels
Ask questions
Genuinely appreciate, endorse, and support you
Assist in setting goals, planning and strategizing
Give perspectives, options, and suggestions to create
awareness and help you catalyze your own solutions
Make powerful requests to deepen your process between
sessions
|
These are things coaches DO NOT do with their clients:
Diagnose, treat or fix
Take
responsibility for your feelings, decisions, actions or success
Give advice
Do your work for you
Become personally invested in what you do or don’t do
Coach you without having the fee in hand unless
specific arrangements were made for pro bono or barter coaching *

The
Client's Role
My clients are highly functioning individuals who choose to work with a coach to make more progress
towards their goals and dreams than they would on their own.
In a coaching relationship, you:
Supply
the agenda or topic of discussion for each session Are responsible for your own feelings, decisions and actions Are
responsible for your own success Tell the truth Do your own work Show up physically and energetically to sessions Pay your coachingfeeson time*
*excluding sample sessions
